The Hotel
Indian Resort lies on an 11 hectare-property. Its buildings are scattered amidst a succession of lush tropical gardens towered by the imposing silhouette of Le Morne, Mauritius legendary peninsula. Immense, pristine beaches of white sand border the turquoise lagoon ahead where the mythical wave sought after by surfers, One Eye, originates.It is within this exceptional site that the star of the APAVOU HOTELS offers a high-standing service. The different configurations of the rooms allow our guests to choose the environment and the mood that suit them best. A wide variety of leisure activities will exceed our guests’ expectations providing them unforgettable moments.
Accommodation
All 265 rooms face the lagoon. Three coherent configurations with totally different atmospheres. The interior decoration of the rooms blends perfectly with the tropical gardens around.

All the rooms have a balcony or a terrace and a satellite television. Add to this a personal safe and minibar and a private bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. There are 122 superior rooms which have 2 m x 2m kingsize beds whilst 38 rooms have 2 twin beds (90 cm x 190 cm). These rooms are spread between the ground and first floor and all face the lagoon.

Junior suites are suited to families consisting of two rooms connected by an interior door. There is the children’s room with 2 single beds and the parents room with a kingsize bed. Each of the rooms has its own television and there is a bathroom, shower, hairdryer and mini bar in the parents room.

There are 3 full suites that are situated on the second floor and have a big balcony. Each suite has a style of its own; Indienne, Moderne and Ludique. They have a sitting room, dining room, sleeping area, a bathroom, separate toilets and a dressing room. They also have a minibar, satellite television a safe and kingsize beds.
Bars and Restaurants
Each of the five hotel restaurants offers a different style of cuisine and a specific ambience. La Pointe du Morne main restaurant will seduce you with its buffets. International buffet for breakfast. Buffet every evening for dinner. It is opened every day from 7h00 to 10h30 and from 19h00 to 22h00. Dress code : smart casual.
Eden
Set in a romantic décor, Eden is the ideal place for a gastronomic dinner : the refined ambience is highlighted by the silver reflections of the moon on the lagoon. The menu is a subtle blend of European and Asian influences of the island. The restaurant is opened every evening (except Sunday) from 19h30 and 22h00. It is recommended to make prior reservations. Dress code : Smart casual.
Victoria Bar
A traditional English pub with billiard tables*, video and electronic games* and darts. Victoria Bar is opened every evening from 10h00 to 23h30. A wide variety of whiskeys and beers are proposed amidst a serene ambience. Bar turns into a discotheque as from 23h00 to 02h00 in the morning open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
L'Haseena
Amidst fragrances of delicate spices and incense, this gastronomic restaurant proposes the various flavors of northern India. The luxurious décor and the authentic cuisine constitute a voyage. L’Haseena is opened every evening (except Fridays) from 19h30 to 22h00. It is highly advisable to make prior bookings. Dress code : Smart casual.
Kite Bar
Next to the nautical centre, this bar is the meeting point of surfers and windsurfers. Facing the ocean, Kite Bar offers light drinks, fresh fruit juices and cocktails from 10h00 to 18h30. During lunch, sandwiches and salads are served from 12h30 to 17h00
Kite Surfing
The “Club Mistral International “is a specialized kite surf school, blend of surf and windsurf. Owing to its exceptional location (opposite the One Eye spot, the best site in the island for sliding and gliding sports), “Indian Resort “has been earmarked by this school for its base in Mauritius. As such, the hotel offers professional and top notch equipment to high caliber sportsmen. The beginners can be trained by professionals who have a very good understanding of the sea. The rental of equipment and the training are billed separately.
Spa
The Spa is an immense 2800 m2 space dedicated to wellbeing. Its open air pool constitutes a unique attraction. A professional team dispenses a variety of personalised treatments inspired by the Chinese and Indian medicine.

This 380 m2 open air pool houses hydrotherapy sessions. The movement from one boiling bath, springs, taps, whirl-pool, etc. to another is free. Each equipment massages a distinct zone of the body. An operating system based on work against the current fosters muscular exercise whilst the air mattress ensures total relaxation. Inside the centre, private cabins offer 18 different types of massage aiming at ensuring tranquillity and complete rest.
Conferences
Indian Resort has four air-conditioned rooms, perfectly suited for conferences and seminars. They can also be converted to host receptions and gala dinners. Technical equipment available for La Prairie included in the package: Audio systems and microphone - overhead projector - paperboard (50 sheets) – podium. Technical equipment available for other rooms with a supplement: Video projector - computer - television set - photocopy - fax machine.
